It’s no secret that shoes in general are one of my favourite things in the world. My love affair started in the pram, and as my Mum can testify, my very first word was ‘Shoe’! I then remember getting a pair of Clarkes ‘Magic Steps’ when I was about seven years old – I truly believed that I was the girl in the ad! Remember this?!
Growing up, my love affair with shoes has carried me through first purple, then black and finally flower covered Doc Martens, Adidas Shell Toe trainers, through to fake croc skin loafers and now my absolute favourite – Irregular Choice shoes. I have always been on the hunt for a great deal and will happily scour the internet for hours to find the best deal if there is a specific pair that I just HAVE to have in my life.

It’s so important to get your wedding shoes right. You have to take look, feel and price into consideration. As a massive flatty fan, I love the thought of rocking a pair of beautiful white pumps or perhaps a pair with a nice kitten heel. White wellington boots if you’re getting married in a rainy month (hold on – isn’t that all year round in the UK?!) are a great kooky look!
It is so frustrating though, when every pair of wedding shoes that you come across have a ridiculously high price tag. You need beautiful (and preferably comfortable!) wedding shoes that you make you feel like a princess (but maybe not the one from the Magic Steps ad!!) that will leave you with plenty of wedding budget to spend on other elements of your big day.
