Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair

On Sunday 7th September, we ran our Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair at The Ruby Lounge at Diana’s in Wellingborough. We had a great day with lots of happy couples coming to browse through the offers, meet with the suppliers and watch the fashion shows.

We had goody bags with glossy magazines from The Wedding Planner and Wedding Scene, and some delicious shortbread  favour samples from Betty Bakes.

The weather was amazing and I was so pleased to see Gerry’s Split Screen VW Camper Van getting lots of attention parked outside the Venue!

We had two fashion shows with Jewkes Bridal whose dresses are all priced under £600.

I was very lucky to have help on the day from my sister Becky and from Zoe, who were on hand at reception to run the registration and to help exhibitors finding their spots!

As for me, at 34 weeks pregnant and looking fit to pop, I must say that I took the opportunity to sit down at this Wedding Fair whenever I could!

Budget Bride Live Northamptonshire Wedding Fair

I am so excited for our sixth Budget Bride Live Northamptonshire Wedding Fair which we are going to be running on Sunday 7th September from 11am to 3pm at The Ruby Lounge at Diana’s in Wellingborough!

I think it may be something to do with the fact that I am shortly going to be going on Maternity Leave to have a baby (10 weeks and counting until the due date!) and I know that this is the last Fair that I will be running for a few months, but there is always such a buzz and anticipation in the run up to one of our Fairs, that I can’t help but have a few butterflies!

This Budget Bride Live Northamptonshire Wedding Fair is going to be held in my home town of Wellingborough and we are going to be working with the cream of the crop of local wedding suppliers to ensure that we have a great group of wedding experts for you to meet with on the day! To give you a little taster, we are going to be having a brilliant range of services on display for you, from Candy Carts and Classic VW Camper Vans, through to expert Wedding Venue Stylists and brilliant Wedding Dress Boutiques – it’s all going to be going on!

We are going to have two Wedding Fashion Shows – at 12noon and 2pm, so make sure you time your visit to see some beautiful wedding dress ideas for under £700. There are also going to be Catering Companies giving away delicious samples for you to try, plus lots of inspiration from Wedding Styling Companies where you can have a chat about your ideas and wishes for your wedding.

We will be giving away free goody bags full of money off vouchers, glossy magazines and treats to all who pre-register. There is also a glass of bucks fizz to welcome you on your arrival as well as free car parking on site, to make things nice and easy!

Northamptonshire Wedding Fair: Budget Bride Live at The Ruby Lounge

Today I am super excited as we’ve literally only got three more sleeps until our Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair at The Ruby Lounge at Diana’s in Wellingborough. Running between 11am and 3pm this Sunday 16th February, this Northamptonshire Wedding Fair will have so much weddingy wonder going on, if you don’t make it you will miss out!

 

To give you a little taster of how the day is going to run, you can expect the following when you arrive with your Bridal Party for a fun Wedding Fair day out sorting all of those ‘must actions’ from your list:

Budget Bride Live at The Eden Centre

On Sunday 3rd November, The Budget Bride Company and a massive array of gorgeous wedding suppliers landed at The Eden Centre in Kettering, Northants.

The Eden Centre is a real hidden treasure in Kettering. The unassuming front doors on Montagu Street open up into a grand art deco styled venue which, at one point in it’s history, used to be a theatre. Many of the original features remain, with gorgeous feature ceilings and galleried landings.

The size and feel of The Eden Centre, along with its excellent value wedding reception packages, made it a natural choice for us to choose as a Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair venue. The incredibly helpful and friendly venue team, headed up by Laurie, can’t do enough to make you feel welcome, which made all the difference for our last wedding fair of 2013!

Once all of the suppliers had set up their exhibition spaces, the doors opened to the public at 3pm. Guests were greeted by the sight of two super long limousines from LJ Limo’s parked outside the venue, these cars are definitely crowd pleasers!

Once inside the venue, brides to be were greeted with suppliers to help them with every area of their wedding planning – from flowers and photography through to DJ’s and brooch bouquets. We pick suppliers for our Budget Bride Live Wedding Fairs based on quality and price, so we were very proud to show off the amount of talent at this event!

Brides were given goody bags full of treats and money off vouchers from Confetti.com, Flowers and Ribbons and Gohen.com and were also entered into a prize draw for a Bridal Pamper Hamper which contained loads of goodies for a bridal pamper night in along with vouchers for a photo shoot with James Thorpe Photography and a generous voucher from Verona Couture  Well done to bride to be Emily for scooping this prize!!

We held a Fashion Show halfway through the event which featured Elegantly Hitched with an amazing seven models! The ladies looked beautiful, showing off wedding dresses all priced below £700.

Fairytales also featured in the Fashion Show, modelling their lovely bridesmaid dresses.

At our recent Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair, we were lucky enough to have video cameras from the wonderful team at Edit Your Wedding to help us capture some of the best moments from the day.

Edit Your Wedding offer a brilliant wedding video service for your special day. The easy to use cameras (you get four) are sent across to you along with straightforward instructions before your wedding. Simply choose four of your most trustworthy (and preferably creative!) friends or family and entrust them with the video camera for the day. Encourage your friends to take a wide variety of film shots, including plenty of you and your newly wed!

After the day is over, simply package up the four video cameras and send back to the team at Edit Your Wedding, where the team will work their magic and create a fantastic video comprising footage from all four cameras into one amazing wedding video for you…

We are so excited to confirm that you can now book on to attend our very first Budget Bride Live Wedding Fair, taking place on Sunday 10th February from 11am to 3pm at Diana’s Health Club, Wellingborough, East Midlands Region.

So, what can you expect on the day? We are going to take over the entire venue at Diana’s Health Club, so this means that you get room after room full of fantastic suppliers to help you decide on everything you need for your wedding day. Whether you are looking to secure a fantastic photographer, the right company to make you an incredible cake, or for the wedding dress of your dreams, we have the wedding suppliers to help you.

On arrival at Diana’s, you will be greeted with a glass of bucks fizz to enjoy as well as your goody bag. You will then be free to wander at your leisure through the venue to explore our different zones:

The Boudoir Bridal Zone: We all know that it’s all about the bride on the big day! The Boudoir Zone will be dedicated to all things pretty for your wedding day – whether you are looking for a wedding hair and beauty specialist, some luxurious bridal lingerie or to book your hen do in for pamper evening, this is the zone for you.

 

The Children Zone: Will you be having lots of younger guests at your wedding? Choosing the right children’s entertainment is so important, and in this area you will be able to meet with the suppliers who can help you! Whether you are thinking of face painting or magicians, having children’s entertainment at your wedding will mean you keep both your younger and older guests happy!
