When I was a little girl, my Grandmother seemed like the most glamorous woman in the world to me. Wafting around in a cloud of Chanel Number 5, wearing beautiful fitted dresses and wrapped in fur coats (and always with a cigarette in one hand), she was the pinnacle of Glamour to me.
We had to get our number one Hollywood Glamour Lady in pretty quickly, right? There’s a reason that Marilyn Monroe became such an icon. Playing up all of her womanly assets to the max and knowing how to dress, style her hair and her strong make-up combined packed an amazing punch.
Women in the 40s, 50’s and 60’s had it sorted style wise. Hair in curls, slicks of red lipstick and feline black eyeliner with a smudge of rouge, the look was pure bombshell – especially when teamed with the beautifully fitted dresses and stilettos that were the rage over these decades.

Choose your photographer carefully. You will need to be as comfortable as possible with your photographer and will need to be reassured that the quality and style will totally show off your incredible day.
